Nuvo Noir combines the elegance of fine art and fashion with modern cultural and tech-forward twists, in a space that brings together a diasporic blend of Black and Brown professionals and advocates of diversity.
Nuvo Noir centers on the fashion inspiration of Saint Maurice Clothing, founded in West Oakland, which uses compelling historical imagery to showcase Black and Brown people in ancient, classical, and Renaissance artwork – challenging long-held assumptions about race and class.
